Our Boiler Replacement Projects

  • Mt. Valley High School

Our second boiler room upgrade at this facility.

The first of which we did was in 2002.

We removed two Kewanee fire tube boilers and replaced them with Cleaver Brooks Boilers. At that time, we reduced the oil consumption by 25,000 gallons per year.

In 2021 we upgraded the boiler room from the Cleaver Brooks boilers we installed 20 years prior in 2002. With the condensing boiler technology 21 years later, we further reduced fuel consumption by 8,000 gallons less fuel than the 20-year average. This was achieved in conjunction with a new energy management system that monitors CO2 or Carbon Dioxide levels by providing demand ventilation in all classrooms and major air handlers including the gym air handlers which we also replaced.

The boiler technology combined with a new building automation system has brought the school built in 1968 to a very efficient operating facility given its age.

  • Noble High School

When Noble High was built the contractors installed two Bryant flex tube boilers. The boilers were marginal at best and worked hard to maintain the facility. We upgraded the heating plant to three Viessmann Boilers.

  • Monmouth Academy

The Academy had two H.B. Smith 28 series boilers that we replaced with 2 Viessman CM2 high efficiency gas boilers. Significant reduction in fuel and we installed a new Building automation system interfaced with the boilers.

This large air condition project required removing one large rooftop that supplied A/C and heat for a supermarket that was retrofitted to Ocean State's retail space.

The retrofit included removal of the one large unit and installing over a dozen rooftops and heat pumps to provide heating and cooling to the new retail store.
